While performing at the second anniversary edition of the monthly Loud ‘N’ Proud Live music concert which held at Soul Lounge, Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos on Thursday, January 30th, 2014, Ice Prince made a revelation about his past relationship with promising female rapper Eva Alordiah.
Before kicking off his performance, the rapper (who’s known for taking his time to give shout outs) revealed that Eva was the first girlfriend he had when he came to Lagos back in 2008.
‘Let me tell you something I’ve never said before in public,‘ Ice Prince announced as he pulled Eva from her seat onto the stage. ‘Eva was the first girlfriend I had when I came to Lagos; that was way back.‘
A surprised looking Eva then grabbed the mic, laughed and said, ‘I don’t know what he’s talking about.‘
Eva was strongly affiliated with M.I and the Loopy crew back in 2008 and 2009, right about when M.I released his debut album ‘Talk About It‘.
Ice Prince is also rumoured to have dated fashion designer Yvonne Nwosu in the past.

During a discussion with Dolapo Oni, Bolanle Olukanni and Michelle Dede on the Boy and Girl Talk Marriage section on popular talk show Moments With Mo show, Big Brother star Uti Nwachukwu said the reason why he and most men can't marry women in the Nigerian entertainment industry is because the women sleep around with big men and they know it.
"Most celebrity women in the entertainment industry have had to sleep with one big man or the other to have the comfortable life they live. Its common knowledge".
He said whenever he hangs out with his friends and they talk about getting married to actresses, that most times the men say never because they've met these actresses in private places with these big men.

Most Kept Secret : Wande Coal Finally Accepts He Has A Love Child
Former Mavin Records artist, Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe, better known as Wande Coal, has opened up on what has been his best kept secret saying he has a five year old son whom he affectionately called Coal Jnr.
Speaking with P.M.NEWS recently, the Black Diamond star said rather than being subjected to crude speculations by some mischievous groups, he would want to reveal the private side of him that many didn’t know.
“Nobody is going to surprise me anymore. Let me then announce to the whole world that I already have a five-year old son. I had the boy since 2008 before I released my debut album,‘Mushin 2 Mo’Hits’. I have been keeping it secret ever since then but think it’s high time people should know.
” Wande, who on Tuesday 28 January was unveiled as Globacom’s latest ambassador, said this is a new era in his life and would love to clear the air on many of those subjects including his controversial exit from his last label, Mavin Records, relationship with Don Jazzy and D’Banj.
According to Mushin-Lagos-bred singer, there was no beef prior to his leaving Don Jazzy's label except that he just needed a move so as to grow as a musician and businessman. He said it is not true that his reconnection with D’Banj influenced his decision to leave Don Jazzy.
“It was my desire to grow and build my own brand, Black Diamond, that made me quit Mavin Records. There is no beef at all. I would have done that when Mo’Hit crisis occurred but the love that I have for my other label mates then made me stay a while to nurture my own project. When I was convinced it is time, then I moved."
He added that it was very easy for him to leave when he left because he never signed any contractual agreement while with the label.
“Everything I did with Mavin, I did it with love. There was no deal. It was strictly done with pure heart for a brother, and I stayed obedient till I left. I am happy now that things are taking shape with Black Diamond."
On being on the same platform with D’Banj as Glo ambassadors, Wande said he is more than happy as it provokes nostalgic feeling.
“D’Banj and I were like 5 and 6 in the Mo’Hit era. He is like a big brother to me from way back. Now that he’s also a Glo ambassador, it gives me warm feeling. It makes me even more happy."
The artiste who is expected to jet out of the country to shoot commercials for Glo said his second album is almost ready and will be released soon on Black Diamond imprints.
KCEE Opens Up To On His Nicki Minaj Collabo- Report
Circling through grapevine is news that KCEE reportedly paid a hefty sum of N68m to have American hip-hop Queen, Nicki Minaj for a collaboration that will also feature his label mate Harrysong.
But KCEE’s manager, Soso Sobrekon, speaking to a reporter from the United States has cleared the air on the matter.

‘We are in the USA trying to get some collaboration done. It is true we are in the process of doing a song with Nicki Minaj, and that news was leaked by an agent to the media.We actually wanted it to be a surprise for the fans, but since it’s out there now; we plan on taking it bigger’.
Soso however refused to comment on what they allegedly paid for Minaj’s services. ‘We want to seal another artist from YMCMB that is bigger than Nicki Minaj.
She’s already sealed to be on the track, but now that everyone knows, we’re still going to surprise the fans by getting another person from YMCB.’
The manager also refused to disclose the title of the track, and says they will finish recording the song before returning to Nigeria.

We heard Mercy and her husband were both summon for an immediate meeting by family members. Lovelyn who was said to be present at the meeting we are told had already prepared her daughter for relocation. Sources says Mercy and her husband stormed out of the meeting and left for Lagos almost immediately when the matter was brought forward with Odianosen insisting that she take her daughter back to where they are both coming from. It was obvious that the idea did not go down well with the couple.

Beautiful 18-Year Old Girl Commits S*icide Because Her Boyfriend Dumped Her
18-year old Lena Begum, who was dumped by her ‘controlling’ boyfriend comm*tt*d suic-de by deliberately stepping into the path of traffic on a dark motorway, an inquest heard.
Lena Begum, had been wandering around the three lane carriageway for up to two hours during which she recorded a 3am voicemail message for Quzlam Ahmed saying: ‘You will probably love me one day the way I loved you, but it will be too late.’
Minutes later the dental student was k*lled after walking in front of a van travelling at almost 60mph along the inside lane of the M65 near her home in Burnley, Lancashire.
She said Lena would ‘drop everything’ to meet Mr Ahmed whenever he called, and as the relationship developed she went from being ‘happy and fun’ to ‘depressed’.
In a statement, she said Lena had told her she would ‘go onto a motorway and get herself run over.’
Miss Alam said: ‘I kept telling her to stop seeing him but she didn't listen.’
On the night of the tragedy on April 10 last year, Miss Alam said she and Lena had been at the home of a friend Marcia Khan before heading to a shisha bar, where guests smoke flavoured tobacco in pipes.
Afterwards Lena asked to be dropped off on a road near the motorway. Miss Alam said: ‘All I remember is her going up some stairs, she seemed happy. She wasn’t saying about hurting herself, she never said anything.

Beyonce has joined other celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey and husband Jay Z, (who has a Georgetown University sociology course named after him), who are studied in the University. The course is called Politicizing Beyonce and can be taken at Rutgers University in New Jersey.
The University’s Department of Women’s and Gender Studies will be exploring the social and cultural significance of the songstress’s music and image.
The course will allow fans to explore Beyonce's alter ego Sasha Fierce, and debate the extent of control she has over her own image. They will also debate whether her red hot persona is an outlet of female sexual empowerment or merely complying with western gender stereotypes.
"This isn’t a course about Beyonce’s political engagement or how many times she performed during President Obama’s inauguration weekend. She certainly pushes boundaries. While other artists are simply releasing music, she’s creating a grand narrative around her life, her career, and her persona.’ Kevin Allred, the person in charge of the course at Rutgers University said

Tragic : Famous Comedian Passes on
Comedian, Shehu Jibril, popularly known as Golobo, died on Thursday morning in his home town, Talatan Mafara, Zamfara State.
The Kannywood comedian was popular in the Hausa entertainment industry, especially for his weekly TV series on Nigeria Television Authority, NTA, in the mid 80s.
His most recent performance was in the Kannywood movie, Maiciki. He starred alongside Rabilu Musa Ibro and Jamila Nagudu.
Amongst those mourning his death was, actor and producer, Murtala Balala who attended the burial said that Golobo would be missed a lot in the world of Kannywood comedy, adding,

Actor Squashes His Marriage Break-up Report With His UK Wife
In November 2012, popular actor/film maker, Yomi Fabiyi wedded his 'oyinbo' wife Fran Fabiyi here in Nigeria. Only for rumours to later go viral that the actor's marriage had crashed irreconcilably.
Speaking with ENCOMIUM Weekly in a new interview, the Lagos-based actor Yomi expressed total dismay about the tale, advising those sponsoring it to find something better to do with their time instead of indulging in wasteful ventures.
“My brother, my marriage has not crashed. I don’t know why people are saying that. It’s just a frivolous talk. I am still in good terms with my wife. There is nothing wrong with our marriage.”
Asked to clear the air on the issue of British passport said to be the cause of the alleged break-up, he reacted:
“That’s not true, people are only saying rubbish. There was nothing like that in our agreement when we got married. A lot of people have that wrong impression that the reason for marrying a white woman is to secure Green card or British passport as the case may be. In the UK, they can’t issue you British passport like that. Everything has stages. After marriage, they will issue your spouse visa which allows you to stay there for five years. After that, they will give you indefinite visa, which lasts forever. During which you can be moving in and out of the UK and still maintain your citizenship. British passport can only be issued based on request. They don’t just issue it like that. When you discover that your marriage has worked and you need British passport, they can give you.
Meanwhile, that wasn’t my priority for marrying her. Since we got married, I have never collected money from my wife. Everybody has reason or reasons for marrying whoever he marries. I didn’t marry Fran because of British passport and I have not applied for it. So, that can’t be an issue between the two of us.
People are just speculating because they don’t see her around me since we married. We had an agreement that we will be living in Nigeria but after a while, she couldn’t cope again due to the way area boys used to harass us and collect money. She said we had to go back to UK but I told her I can’t leave my job. Nigeria is the best place for me because of my career. That was just the issue between us, and that has been resolved.
Now we have both agreed that I can come to the UK anytime. Left to me, the weather there is not good for me. That’s another reason I can’t live there, and she agreed with me. She also agreed that she will be coming to Nigeria to see me. So, why are people peddling unnecessary rumour?”
